While the Grange Hall is controlled by the Stewards who represent the Town Council and the District Council, The Hall is administered by a Management Committee which meets bi-monthly to deal with the day to day running. The members are all volunteers and represent a wide variety of interest in Southam and its local district. They are always looking for new members to join them. The Grange Hall was built in 1977 with funding provided by the Town Council and by Stratford-on-Avon District Council. It consists of a large hall with a stage, two committee rooms, a bar room and a well-equipped kitchen, and The Hall also has its own licensed bar. Set in pleasant garden surroundings, with ample car parking facilities, it makes an ideal venue for a wide range of functions. An extensive refurbishment programme took place in the Summer of 2002, as well as the installation of stage lighting facilities. |
